Our Strathfield Campus is set amid beautiful landscaped grounds and historic buildings, with excellent transport links. Whether you want to have a friendly match on our rugby and soccer ovals or take in a show at our art gallery, you’ll have plenty to keep you busy between classes.

Finding your way to campus

It’s easy to travel to our Strathfield Campus. Lots of trains and buses arrive at Strathfield Station, and there’s free ACU shuttle busses running between the station and the campus. Major bike and walking routes pass close to the campus gates, and there’s free parking on campus. Please note that Transport for NSW has scheduled some track work on the day, so if travelling by train, please plan your trip ahead of time. Download our campus map.

Deciding what and where to study is a pretty momentous decision. That’s why we run Open Day – it’s everything you need, in one place, to help make your choice.

Our biggest piece of advice – don’t be afraid to ask questions. We’ll have academics, course experts, support staff and admissions experts on-hand ready to help. You can ask about courses, applying, admission pathways, scholarships, studying overseas, accommodation, financial support… really anything you’ve ever wanted to know about uni. It’s also a good opportunity to do a campus tour, and meet real students and lecturers.

No, we’ve got you covered. You’ll receive a bag on arrival which will have all the basics you need to get started.

Nope. Registering is not essential, although there are benefits for doing so. For example, you’ll go into the draw to win a study trip to Rome, and get access to exclusive Open Day updates. There’s also no need to register for any of the events on the day, but spaces may be limited, so we suggest you arrive on time.

You can also book a personal campus tour to visit us on campus and discuss your options face-to-face.

If you can’t make a certain session or activity, check to see if it’s running again later in the day. If not, don’t stress – you can still chat one-on-one with our experts in the Info Expo.

That’s easy – head to your nearest ‘Start here’ tent where you can collect a free bag with essential information and get directions.

That’s up to you. You can come along whenever you like between the Open Day start and finish times, but it’s a good idea to plan your day in advance. There are a lot of different sessions, and some of them are a one-off. Planning ahead is the best way to make sure you don’t miss your top picks.

Go to a Community Achiever Program information session Find out how your student can get early entry to ACU. This program offers future students who are active in their community early entry to their undergraduate course of choice. It also provides opportunities to enhance leadership and volunteering skills.
